Plymouth Half Marathon

Event PR and publicity

The Plymouth Half Marathon was entering a new phase.
Under new ownership, it was time to reshape the event and create some noise to get people involved.
Onshore came on board and executed a careful PR campaign, working closely with The Plymouth Herald and its LoveLife campaign, as well as other regional media, to ensure messaging
was integrated and inspiring.
Result nearly 5000 people ran in the Plymouth Half Marathon.
Onshore engaged the Deputy Mayor and Channel 4's Three Hungry Boys Thom Hunt to start the main and school races.
Onshore also got the Plymouth twitter community tweeting in excitement.
It was a fantastic day!
